This Bermuda Style residence is a two-story, concrete and masonry structure on the island of Palm Beach. Our client was actually born and raised on the property and decided to construct this 6,500 SF home on the same site. The architectural style and many aspects of the floor plan were driven by the original home's design.
In an effort to maximize the footprint of the home, portions of the existing foundations & exterior perimeter walls had to be salvaged in order to maintain the existing setbacks from the property lines.
Some unique features of this project are an upstairs lanai accessible from all bedrooms that overlooks the pool below, a fabulous outdoor kitchen, a home theater, a beautiful curved stairway that leads to an upstairs mezzanine overlooking the entry, and a "his and hers" master bathroom.
